Some quotes I like:

Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he can and should be and he will become as he and should be. Goethe

Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth. -- N. Eldon Tanner

The first quote also reminds me of a story Covey told earlier in the book (habit 2, maybe)? He and his wife needed to learn to treat his son as someone who was capable and acceptable rather than someone who was poor at sports and sometimes an outcast. Eventually, his son became the person they envisioned and treated him as.
